Constitution Day Speakers and Section 111 Compliant Programs

Since 2004, U.S. law (Section 111 of Division J of Pub. L. 108-447) (see 118 Stat. 2809, 3344-45 (Section 111)  and 36 United States Code §106) requires that all educational institutions receiving Federal funding from the U.S. Department of Education implement an educational program on Constitution Day pertaining to the United States Constitution.  Americans for Madison is joining with certain nationally recognized educators and organizations to offer all levels of programs that will enable educational institutions to comply with this Federal statute.

Specifically, Americans for Madison has speakers available who are prepared to present Section 111 compliant educational programs on Constitution Day.

In addition, Americans for Madison is teaming with certain of its Advisory Board members and their associated institutions to provide either educational materials and/or displays for use on Constitution Day as well as throughout the year.

Educational institutions seeking to comply with Section 111 are invited to seek the assistance of Americans for Madison to provide an educational program pertaining to the United States Constitution on Constitution Day.

Similarly, many public-spirited citizens are looking to endow or otherwise fund the Constitutional Day activities at educational institutions.  Towards this end, philanthropists and executors of trusts and estates who are wishing to further supplement any existing Constitution Day program are invited to access the special resources that are available through Americans for Madison.

Anyone interested in accessing this very special capability of Americans for Madison is encouraged to communicate with us early since we believe that the longer the lead-time we have to consider your needs the more satisfying can be our response to your unique situation.  So if you are a school district with over a million students or a small one-room school or just a public-spirited citizen or someone acting on behalf of one, feel free to contact us but do so as soon as you can.
